I think that even in a very crowded place, or a mosh pit situation, or whatever there is a certain "etiquette of sorts" that most decent folk go by. That's why when an idiot comes along and does something idiotic then people notice it.

There's a "Jamie's Italian" in Cambridge, in the city centre. I've never eaten in one of those myself but they're supposed to be good aren't they ?

Loads of little art galleries / museums scattered around so I think you'll enjoy your stay there !

The Eagle pub is a favourite of mine, nice place for a few drinks and food is pretty decent too - opposite ish the corn exchange.

The Fitzwilliam museum (opposite Browns restaurant) is very interesting if you like looking around such places. (no stranglers memorabilia there yet though)
