For my sins I like Metallica..specially the early stuff. Biggest metal band around today but I do think Megadeth are better, more consistent and who couldn't like mustaines snarling..

Graham Masterton's The Devils of D Day...must be getting old..I read this when I was a teen so thought it would be good to revisit it. A very unsettling read and disturbing but also shite..

It's a good album but not a great album..some of the songs are filler but the rest make up for it..It's just nice he has made it in the first place most folks thought he had more or less retired from the music biz.

I'm happy to say I've never heard any of his songs..however the recent media reports on him just last week...he comes across as a spoilt brat...it's the wee lassies I feel sorry for ...how can they like this wee arsehole..gimme Westlife any day..

Been digging out a lot of old Stranglers stuff....brings a tear to the eye sometimes...oh the memories ..oh the bliss..

Thought they were excellent last night..not perfect but good all the same...my third stranglers gig and this time the sound mix was better than the previous two. I was quite happy with the set list and anyone pondering whether to buy the live cd ...do so ...it's brilliant.
