Re: JJ & Hugh to do one off Stranglers tour?

Any harm to wish? No. Ever going to happen? No. About as likely to happen as Peter Hook re-joining New Order. Is it sad? Yes, given JJ and Hugh used to be so close. But friendships come and go. That's life, as Esther Rantzen used to say...

Re: New JJ interview French site

And it still irks him the band carried on without him and have thrived while his solo career, aside from being more fruitful in terms of new material in recent years, hasn't been on the same scale to his ex-band mates in terms of gigging. Straighten Out @ Mullberry Tavern, Sheffield

Ruts DC finished ridiculously early so popped over to see these guys. Knew about them but never seen them. Have to say they were SUPERB. Highly recommended. Sound really authentic re: first five albums.

Re: Spear Of Destiny

I didn't love the Leeds gig but that is not taking anything away from the fact that Kirk is on top form, he's bloody ace and it was great to see him looking well and happy with life. 8) My only gripe was that many of the songs cried out for the sax lines (and to a lesser extent the keys). But I'm g...
