Re: Jim Mac changing the bass drum parts on old songs
Just compared Toiler from Ally Pally to a 2022 show. Are you referring to JIm's 1+2 hits to Jet's 2+2 hits ie: Jim goes boom, splat, boom boom splat. Jet goes boom boom splat, boom boom splat? Quite a big change really. JJ wouldn't need to change anything but I am surprised at the change. The older...

Re: Reading the review the final full UK Tour?
I suspect it's not difficult to have an improved sound when you have a pre-recorded backing track (with the levels already finely balanced) running through a PA system [emoji2] Ah yes I did wonder, of course they were miming, thanks for enlighting us,that explains it all. Your like the person who t...

Re: Sheffield City Hall 2022
Great pic...again lots & lots of fans saying just how good the sound is on this tour. Sir I think they have dropped the volume, which seems to have improved the sound, but Louie is a a great sound chap, I can't remember the sound as good as this ever, and the keyboards seemed to have a fuller s...

Re: Sheffield City Hall 2022
Boys in fantastic form. As soon as they came on just about everyone stood up and the bouncers just watched. Some great banter from Baz and some lovely words from JJ about Dave. Great sound, ace lightship. A 9/10 show for me. The great sound appears to be a very welcome thread of the gigs on this to...

Re: Reading the review the final full UK Tour?
Many thanks for your review Kudu. White Stallion really works on this tour. It proves that being at the gig is a lot different to watching YouTube footage from a mobile phone. I personally do not care if a band has the occasional backing track as long as the members participate in playing during the...

Re: Things you fecken love..........
Have you visited the All year round Christmas shoppe in Stratford upon Avon directly opposite the home of the bard himself? Do they play all the Christmas songs as well all year round? It sounds nearly as tacky as the gift shops that surround the Vatican where you can buy Maninwhite snow globes!

Re: New Shades of Plato album
Folk here have been previously very kind and taken time to listen to our music, and even sometimes bought it and come to see us play! Your support and comments are always very appreciated. After a long hiatus we are at last back with our second album Malware, due for release in March We have been t...

Re: New Killing Jokes track
I like Outside the Gate as well. I like my KJ albums to be a mixture of loud shouty plus more subtle songs. Revisited Nightime recently. I like Kings and Queens- such a great guitar riff that keeps on popping up. Strangely danceable.

Re: Reading 2022
There could be a panel like Britain's Got Talent with Kudu and Stan as judges. Mind you a third person would be needed for the casting vote.

I am not even going to this gig but am excited because Kudu is attending. Can't wait for his report. Anyone else going to it?
