I was never a fan of the synthy sound that Dave used. Never sat right with me!

And if you look carefully in that interview there is another Stranglers connection - The Drummer in The Hype is wearing a gas mask a la JetBlack!

I don't get why their first two albums are played so much. I prefer their later material from Night Time onwards. They are classics. They set the tone for KJ. The blueprint. But I cannot disagree that post Night Time there are some bangers. Extremities will always be HUGE for me as will Pandemonium...

The new stuff is good but is in danger of becoming a little formulaic.
The first two albums have power and menace and this should be an amazing night!
