Well I have just got back from seeing my Orthopaedic Surgeon, and for the first time in 30 years I have been given the all clear - No need for any more ops, the X Rays said there is nothing wrong with my knee joints and the stupid part is I am not sure how to celebrate - I have never ever had news ...

I read in one of the newspapers up here that the emergency services in Lockerbie have been receiving calls about people seeing what they thought was a burning flame in the sky, but it so happens it was the comet mcnaught, think it was the daily record if i can remember

Must admit this is rather dissapointing for me, i usually take a keen interest in in astronomy but even for Glasgow standards the weather here has been horrendeous and there hasn't been a hope in hell of seeing a star never mind a comet, still when is the next one to come around
