Re: NME to stop producing their print edition after 66 years
It's not that surprising, I'm sure the print version has been free for the last few years.

Re: A date for you diary
I've an idea this is a fairly big event, hosted by a Radio 1 DJ IIRC.

Re: Katy Perry only selling 60,000 copies of latest album.
Can't be surprising that the record company are concerned. They've probably got some investment in terms of publicity, recording costs and so on, which will be higher based on the earlier figures. As unpopular as it might be, I'm never surprised when companies start to get worried when it looks like...

Re: Spotify
I keep meaning to give this a go, I might have a look.
Surprised to hear people on here moaning because Stranglers albums aren't on - haven't you all got every different variant of every album they've released, without paying again to hear it?

Re: The new Doctor Who
I've never been much of a fan of Dr Who, but the "new generation" starting with Christopher Eccleston made me watch it a bit more. I enjoyed him, and David Tennant, but I've not been bothered about any of the later ones. I'll probably watch the new ones, but that might just be because ther...

Re: Level Crossings.
I'm always amazed that some people try to "jump" them when the lights are flashing an the bells are clanging. Pretty sure there is a plan to replace them with tunnels an bridges. I'm amazed that anyone would be stupid enough to do that. Can any of these people not picture the effect of hu...

Re: 'Monster' fatberg found blocking east London sewer.
We had something like that in the sewer under our old office building, on a much smaller scale and made up of dregs of tarmac that the local tarmac supplier definitely hadn't been swilling out of their trucks and down into the drains. All was fine until there was a very heavy downpour, at which poin...

Re: Daniel Craig : 007
Books are usually better than films, though. I'm sure there are some exceptions. I've read some of the Bourne books, but only the original ones rather than the later ones written by someone else after Robert Ludlum died. I think I've only seen one of the films, I keep an eye open for them on TV but ...
