Re: THE CURE 4:13

I was wondering about this album as well. I was really disappointed with the previous one which i thought was just them going trhough the motions, so im curious to know if this one is any improvement.

Re: GLASGOW APOLLO STAGE INVADERS

Wasnt the preferred route to go from one of the boxes at the side, across the top of the PA stack and on to the stage from there?

Funniest thing i saw there was a keystone cops style chase around the PA system at JJs side with one of the bouncers and one faninblack who was pretty fast on his feet!

I was quite lucky though, in that my sisters played a lot of decent music, so from a fairly young age i was ...

Hazel O Connor

Went off to see Hazel O Connor doing her Beyond Breaking Glass show at the Edinburgh Fringe on Friday. I`d read a bit about the shwo before going, so i knew we were in for an evening with her and a harp player doing arrangements of songs from throughout her career. Was quite sure how that would work...

Dublin

Anyone got any recommendations for places to eat or things to do in Dublin? Heading over there in July for a long weekend, and have the obvious stuff like the Guinness tour planned, but just wondered if there were any decent places of the beaten track to seek out?

Tom Waits

Was intending on pciking up a few Tom Waits CDs seeing as Virgin/Zavvii are doing quite a few of them at a reasonable price. Anyone got any recommendations on which would be a good one to pick up first?

First gig for me was Adam Ant at the Glasgow Apollo in 1982 - good gig from what i remember, and although it gave me a taste for going to see bands, the chance didnt come up again till The Stranglers at the same venue in 1985.
