Re: Glasgow / The Clutha

I was parked a few streets away from the bar but was on the road about 5 mins before it happened, so was unaware until i got home. Thoughts go to the families of all those who lost their lives - its shocking that you can be just enjoying a Friday night out and something like this can happen. :(

Thats such a great thing to do, and to echo what others have said Elton has gone up in my estimations a lot by doing that.

Re: Biggest bollock dropped at work?

Working at the airport many years back, a mate of mine was tasked with seeing to the Dispatch of a helicopter which was taking a crew out to an offshore rig. Flight left on time, all seemed fine and dandy until about 2 hours later my mate gets a phone call in the office from a mildly irate captain d...

Re: STRAIGHTEN OUT -2012 TOUR

Better turn out at The Dreadnought in Bathgate than there was in Belfast at least, would guess at maybe 100 or so? Very lively crowd too and a lot of jumping around down at the front. Couldnt really ask for a better setlist, drawn from the first 3 albums and all very well played. Had dragged my sist...

Re: Hugh @ Kirkcaldy, 27th January 2012.

I`ll be venturing into the Kingdom for this one. May need to make a scouting trip in advance though to find out where this place is. Only been in Kirkcaldy once before, and many moons ago, which i think was an ill advised venture into a club called Jackie O`s.
