Re: HMV Enters Administration

And for the third time, age has absolutely nothing to do with it. And I'll explain why: I have relatives that are much older than yourself who have naturally embraced recent technology over the years rather than making a conscious attempt to kick against it. Why is that? Maybe because inherently th...

Re: HMV Enters Administration

As for this, which you deftly edited in afterwards.... P.S. The world of fat idle arseholes who spend all their lives hunched over a computer/playstation in their bedrooms and will die of a heart attack aged about 40 because of lack of exercise and have no social skills whatsoever is a world that c...

Re: HMV Enters Administration

You hear that, folks? People over the age of 30 who embrace changes in the way the world operates and the way technology evolves aren't acting their age! Priceless, Ribery. Absolutely priceless! :smt005 :smt005 Age has absolutely nothing to do with it, by the way. Still have a black & white tel...

Re: HMV Enters Administration

Oh Ribery, man! Best of luck with that. Seriously. You might be able to keep yourself contained in a little time capsule-like bubble, but you really are beginning to sound like a guy who the world left behind a long time ago. Why ? I'm 50 and don't need to start behaving like I'm 30. Yes I'm set in...

(I prefer REAL books to e.books) I have the ability and knowledge to download, but prefer real product with real artwork and packaging (as a physical reality). Burn e 77 Absolutely, something tangible :!: I have a Kindle & use it. I get books for free that I would find diffucult to buy. I get m...

Re: HMV Enters Administration

Not all progress is good progress, some of us don't want to buy online. I never buy stuff online and have no idea how to download music and no wish to learn how to do so. I DO however like going into the likes of HMV and Waterstones. Although I have bought a few items online (mainly direct from a J...

Re: Wonkie Bus Trip to ?

I suppose a gig in Hildesheim (they haven't been here since 1995) or Hannover is too much to ask. If there are any German gigs it will doubtless be Berlin, Hamburg and Köln again. In the mid eighties I saw them play in Dusseldorf, great night... and a cool game of footie with the German MIB fans in...

Pretentious, self indulgent 80's twaddle by one of the biggest bunch of self obsessed poseurs in the history of music.
