Georgie, try £75 for a tank in my Galaxy (which will take it 300 miles at best), my tyres are dying of old age, not wear.

Fancy a swap? It's a lovely motor.

Aircraft petrol is currently £1.59 a litre at my local club, I know it is 100 octane but it has no 'road tax' on it.

Unsustainable.

Just watched an advert on the TV for 'Miracle Grow' fertiliser with a woman picking ripe tomatoes on a sunny day. Thought it was ironic and a waste of the company's money. Guess the DIY shops are suffering as well.

'Thick as a whale sandwich' was something I heard only once and has tickled me ever since, from the same Royal Marine came an alternative description of a sausage roll, a 'Labrador's arse' (which when you look at the end of a sausage roll the similarity to a dog's bum is striking!!!)

I met Pam Ayres in Woolworths once.

"I am a bunny rabbit..............."

"Oh, I wished I looked after me teeth................."

All the mystery evaporated after that chance encounter sadly.

Sky+ box stuffed full of Hollyoaks so there's no room left to record proper programmes (like Top Gear or Jodie Foster films), closely followed by lazy teenage daughters who watch Hollyoaks all day while they pretend to be ill....Grrrrr.....!
