They were a very credible band though, made serious money and Weller has forged a huge solo career that Hugh wanted but can only dream off!

Re: RIP Sir Sean Connery sad news and loss.
Very sad news that Sir Sean Connery has died age 90,the best bond by a mile IMHO, and did some great films before and after Bond, he had a great life but I was a huge fan of him in Bond but me made loads of other great films, a fantastic icon and actor, mine is a vodka Martini shaken not stirred. I doubt it, he's been teetotal for about 30 years!aldinblack wrote: ↑14 Jul 2020, 15:23 mmm I don't know tbh. Not sure he's up to the job, what with all the legendary competition out there. Plus, I doubt he can play a solo and down a pint of Stella simultaneously.

Re: The Clash
The Clash were BIG IN AMERICA. Stadium rock... https://youtu.be/78PoG2qw9G4 Hugh didn't get that big success with The Stranglers. . JJ wasn't a friend of western boots and for him American people are strange or even ridiculous. One main reason Hugh left the band... Obviously discounting the time fr...

Re: The Kinks are back!
