Funnily enough ... I thought the same about the loops on tracks ie 'Breathe' watching YT videos, I was saying how much the keyboards are up in the mix/sound these days compared to back in the 70's/ 80's ... gives it all a fuller sound. And I thought JJ's vocals have been spot on this tour.

Guy playing the spoons on the Feline tour was Nick Mallam. And it was Mr Spratts 20th Century Popular Motets on the La folie and they formed 'La Folie' in blankets or whatever at the end ....
