Re: Killing Joke
Just announced a mini-tour in August, booked a ticket for Wolverhampton at a venue I've never heard of.
Fancied London on the Saturday, but not willing to pay £50!

Re: GIGS,GIGS AND MORE GIGS!
Having now compared Birmingham Institute with Nottingham Rock City, I'll be going to see Killing Joke at Rock City. Great venue.

Re: GIGS,GIGS AND MORE GIGS!
My Bloody Valentine- Birmingham Institute (tonight)
PIL -Nottingham Rock City (next Friday)
After these will decide where to see Killing Joke, either of these venues, haven't been to Rock City before. Already booked Roundhouse in November.

Re: Killing Joke
Just had a look at the dates, should be able to make one or two of those, looking forward to it.
Although slightly gutted as I am in Denver the night before KJ are due to play there. Can't stay on until the following night unfortunately.

Re: Killing Joke
Thanks again JBD. There certainly is 'life' if the last three albums are anything to go by.
I'll try to make as many dates as I can, they can't go on forever.

Re: Killing Joke
I'd almost forgotten about this. According to the pledge page we should be receiving this in April.

Re: Smithy
Saw The Fall at the Transformer festival in Manchester last May. He seemed reasonably well that night. However, he was messing around with the knobs on stage and nearly blew the bass amp up!

Thanks for the info JBD, I can live with that.jetblacksdad wrote: ↑17 Aug 2017, 09:09 The pledge thing is still on.
I don't want to say too much, but the numbers needed looking at a bit better to realise the project in the way that Jaz wanted to do it

Re: Killing Joke
I noticed Jaz has put out a classical style track on the Pledgeneral music updates. Is this album going ahead now then? He said the other week that he was going to do some lectures to raise money for the project, so we'll just have to see. :? Other than that, I'm in the dark as much as everyone else.

Saw Daniel Kitson at The Roundhouse, Saturday night as part of his three week residency. Very funny, and tickets were a bargain £12.

Re: Killing Joke
Jaz has cancelled his 'Chamber Orchestra concert'. I get the impression that he is struggling to finance his classical KJ album.
