Big Country - Tony Butler Biog

Spent an enjoyable afternoon working my way through Tony Butler's book (https://amzn.to/3fZh9IT). He writes about his time in Big Country after the tragic death of Stuart Adamson. Interesting insight into how they tried to keep the flag flying for a known band with past glories. Recommended.

The many racist jibes are unforgiveable especially for a public figure at that level. Also, with regards to the BBC they're total royalists as witnessed by the complete wipeout of programming yesterday and into today.

The Great CD vs Vinyl debate

One of Stan's comments on another thread got me thinking about this. I sold all my vinyl (for next to nothing, sometimes giving stuff away to mates) back in early 90s and bought everything on CD. Now I find myself doing the reverse :lol: I tend to have a blend of both CD and vinyl for the best album...
