Re: SQUEEZE & JOHN COOPER CLARKE TOUR 2015
"East Side Story" (from 1981) remains their masterpiece - they never managed to top that collection of songs. When you listen to that album comparisons with Ray Davies and Lennon & McCartney are fair enough. I think Paul Carrack added something to the mix and when he left Glenn Tilbroo...

Re: SQUEEZE & JOHN COOPER CLARKE TOUR 2015
I was listening to an old Squeeze song called "It's So Dirty" recently. I think they are underrated as musicians.

Re: JEREMY CORBYN - ELECTED LABOUR LEADER
I feel Corbyn is probably a lovely well meaning bloke who would be great to have as your local MP. I wish Dan Jarvis had stood for leadership of Labour. I can see Jarvis at number 10 or talking to world leaders and Yvete Cooper would have been a good deputy leader but I think Corbyn is easy meat for...

Re: JEREMY CORBYN - ELECTED LABOUR LEADER
The idea of Tom Watson taking over in a few years makes perfect sense to me. Corbyn will be 70 at the next election and I think the 4 or 5 years of smears and abuse he'll be getting from The Sun, Mail and Torygraph will age him considerably

Re: Damned 40th Anniversary - Royal Albert Hall 2016
I love the early stuff. If I was going to see them play live I'd want to be down the front. I think it might seem odd sitting in one of those Albert Hall booths looking at the concert with the aid of binoculars. I don't know - maybe it wouldn't. Captain Sensible is good in interviews. I think if the...

I like the famous songs by The Damned. Do they have any recent material that's worth a listen?

Re: The next leader of The Labour Party should be...
Chuka Wotsit doesn't want to do it. Liz Kendall, Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper and Mary Creagh are all ok people but don't seem like natural leaders/winners. I've read that a lot of people rate Keir Starmer who is MP for Holborn but I've yet to see him on TV saying he's going to throw his hat in the r...

Re: The Damned
The people who made a documentary about Lemmy have now made about a documentary about The Damned. I read it's going to be screened at The Prince Charles cinema in Leicester Square very soon.
