This brings back exactly why I gave up going to see "JJ, Jet, Dave and friends" for quite a few years.

Embarrassing is an understatement.But it did have 'energy'.So that's OK.

That would limit their sales I would've thought.Don't understand this going back in time thing,with vinyl.

As somebody else said,the last link to the original.It's bizarre enough without Hugh,Jet and Dave but without JJ too then it becomes a music hall joke.Literally

Thanks.I just thought JJ did his number from the album on that tour.

From memory they played uptown,no mercy,let me down easy and north winds on the aural sculpture show that I attended in Liverpool.Without googling.Maybe punch and judy was shoe 'horned' in.

Stage presence.You either have or you don't.JJ has it and so did/does Hugh.

Let Me Down Easy was about JJ's Father and written by Hugh, which was nice.

Skin Deep wasn't even performed on the tour of the album it was from.I don't recall it featuring on Dreamtime and 10 tours either.It may have been resurrected occasionally by the various line ups post 1990 but I don't think it's ever had a regular slot.

Skin Deep seems too high and Bitching too low.Can't be very accurate.

JJ is now of an age that he used to call Jet old.He will drive the band into the ground and its not a spectacle I want to see,myself.

Thankfully Hugh seems to have stopped moaning at the audience for talking or taking pictures when he is playing - that WAS annoying. For a while he came across as a right git who had no respect for the few people who turned up to watch him. Also, the phase he went through of "if you want to he...
